Required Professional Experience
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in implementation of agriculture or rural development project.
- Experience with INGOs, UE and UN Agencies projects management is an added advantage.
- Must have an experience of working in and interacting with rural communities
- Should have an experience and general understanding of inclusive and holistic programming such as though not limited to GESI responsive and transformative designs, Advocacy, clean energy, Financial Management, and related mainstreaming strategies and activities especially in livelihood sector
- Experience in working with youth
- Must be a Christian with good conduct.
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
- Should have a university degree in Forest, Environmental science, Rural Development, Natural Resource Management or related field.
- Advanced degree in above fields is an added advantage
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
- Report writing skills: Ability to write reports
- Strong facilitation skills in the community
- Basic understanding of advocacy approaches and advocacy issues at local and/or national level.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Swahili
- Proven experience in facilitating effective project documentation and dissemination of results to a wide range of audiences.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines
- Strong commitment to WV Values, Mission and Vision.
