Armstone Hydro Limited, a
company incorporated in Tanzania with company number 136559710 of 5th Floor GEPF
House, Plot 37, Ali Hassan Mwinyi Road, PO Box 75396, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania invites
qualified and experienced firms to submit an EOI (A) to construct a dam for 8MW
run of river hydroelectric power plant and/or (B) to conduct a water flow
assessment of the river.
LOT 1: Construction of Dam for 8MW Hydro Power Plant
Work scope:
a.
Construction
of the dam
b.
Design,
review and implementation
c.
Civil
works, including excavation, embankment, and spillway construction
d.
Installation
of necessary hydromechanical equipment
e.
Environmental
and safety compliance measures
Eligibility Criteria:
Interested firms must meet the following criteria:
a.
Proven
experience in dam construction and hydropower projects
b.
Technical
and financial capability to execute the project
c.
Compliance
with national and international environmental and safety standards
d.
Availability
of qualified personnel and resources
LOT 2: Conduct Water Flow Assessment
Work scope:
a.
Hydrological
data collection and analysis
b.
Seasonal
flow variation study
c.
Sediment
transport and water quality assessment
d.
Impact
assessment and mitigation planning
Eligibility Criteria:
Interested firms must meet the following criteria:

experience in conducting water flow assessments
f.
Technical
and financial capability to execute the project
g.
Compliance
with national and international environmental and safety standards
h.
Availability
of qualified personnel and resources
LOT 1 and LOT 2 Submission Requirements
Interested firms should submit an EOI containing the following:

Company
profile, including years of operation and expertise
b.
Details
of relevant past projects with references
c.
Technical
and financial capacity statement
d.
Proposed
approach and methodology for executing the project
e.
Certifications
and legal registrations
LOT 1 and LOT 2 Submission Process
Interested parties should submit an EOI before the following deadline for

LOT 1 and LOT 2 Evaluations
The received EOIs will be evaluated and shortlisted firms will be invited
for further discussions and submission of detailed proposals.
Armstone Hydro Limited reserves the right to accept or reject any
EOI without assigning any reason.
