REPOA
is an independent, non-profit research institution established in 1994 with a
mandate to support efforts to strengthen policy research capacity and to
provide research-based evidence that informs policies and strategies for
accelerating socio-economic transformation for inclusive development in
Tanzania.
REPOA’s
success is credited to the support from its long-standing partners and
effective collaborations with its wide range of stakeholders, including policy
makers, development partners, civil society organizations, the private sector,
and the research and academic community.
Its vision is to be a leading policy research institution in Africa, and
it aims to use its research and dialogue to promote responsive and effective
policies to sustain inclusive development. The achievement of this vision will
require continued support from its partners, along with other efforts to
supplement the support from our partners.
In
pursuit of such efforts, REPOA is seeking a credible real estate developer to
express interest in developing its land property located at Regent Estate Dar
es Salaam. The key features of this
property are summarized in the table below:

Qualified
local and international real estate developers are eligible to submit their
expression of interest (EoI) for developing, operating, and managing the
proposed property through a financing and property development model that will
provide mutual benefits to both the developer and to REPOA. Benefits to REPOA will
focus on the contribution of the project to the fulfillment of its vision and
objectives.
Submission of the EoI
Interested
real estate developers are invited to visit the designated property before

EoIs
should include the following:
i) A company
profile detailing legal status, experience, and evidence of implementing at
least three similar projects in Tanzania
ii) Proof of
financial capability
iii) Concept of
the proposed property development, including preliminary financing plan and benefit
sharing structure.
Requirements
Interested developers
should also confirm the following when submitting their EoIs:
i) That
they have no conflicts of interest or legal barriers regarding their potential engagement
with REPOA.
ii) That
they fully comply with national and international quality and environmental
standards
iii) That
they adhere to national laws and regulations governing property development
REPOA
reserves the right to accept or reject EoIs in line with its long-term development
and sustainability objectives. REPOA shall not be liable for any consequence
resulting from not accepting any EoIs. REPOA will invite the shortlisted
developers to discuss the next steps.
Interested
developers should submit their EoIs on or before 30th of March
