Job Summary Support the leadership teams overseeing country Global Corporates and FI business from a coverage perspective to develop and manage the FIG opportunities in the country as well as international clients with an African hub located in Tanzania. The role will work in close coordination with Global Corporates Head and country product teams from Absa Tanzania and AR. Assist in driving the development of business with new customers as well as deepen share of wallet of existing international FIG corporate clients, whilst creating global alignment with the global FIG bankers and leveraging the strength Absa Group [...]
REQUIREMENTS

- Assisting to drive pitches to successful closure and tracking of client deep dives .
- Tracks action points post client visits to ensure closure of issues and / or opportunities in pipeline .
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders across the Absa, Absa networks.
- This includes having a good understanding of credit policy and assisting to ensure resolution in the credit arena with clients either regionally or locally.

REQUIREMENTS

- A University degree in the field of Business, Economics or equivalent is a prerequisite .
- Knowledge of Corporate Banking in Tanzania.

- Sound knowledge of products and expertise know how and understand the following environments: multi-nationals, FIs, NBFIs and major NGOs in Tanzania.

- Outstanding knowledge of control and governance
REQUIREMENTS

- Soundtrack record of relationship management proven relationships within the corporate banking field in emerging markets.
