Role Responsibilities:
This role will partner with SBL business management and Group functions contributing to the development and achievement of Mission Goals and the delivery of performance.
In addition, the role holder will lead the Commercial team in their Business Growth agenda and will be accountable for ensuring that this growth is delivered in a sustainable way.
The role will also be responsible for :-
- Leading the development and implementation of the commercial customer marketing and distribution (RTM) strategy in SBL aligned to the corporate objectives.
- Ensuring an efficient and effective operation in order to deliver the defined strategy through a capable and motivated organisation.
- Responsible for overall commercial performance within the market for both beer and spirits.
- Supporting Board and MD in strategic direction setting through timely and complete performance analysis and communication
- Responsible for the management of overhead and T&E budget.
- Creating and leading the rhythm required to plan and manage commercial performance with deep discipline and rigour.
- Accountable for building and sustaining partnerships with customers and distributors.
Experience / skills required:
Qualifications:
- A University degree in commercial or equivalent qualification
- MBA will be an added advantage
Experience:
- A proven track record of building and leading high performing teams, , insightful into what drives performance.
- A strong coach with a track record of building talent, taking personal accountability for the talent agenda.
- At least 10 years strategic commercial management experience, with at least 5 years in senior management in an international FMCG company.
