Qualification and Skills
A qualified investigator will possess a combination of technical skills, relevant experience, and ethical standards necessary for investigating sensitive matters like theft and security.
A qualified investigator shall be a firm or individual expert.
Education Background
Team leader of the firm or individual expert should possess
Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Law, Security Management, or a related field.
For more specialized roles, a Master’s Degree in a relevant field (such as Criminology or Security Studies) may be advantageous.
Professional Certifications
Certified Fraud Examiner or Certified Forensic Investigator or any other related certification
Experience
Previous Experience in Investigations: At least 3-5 years of experience in conducting investigations, especially in security-related incidents
Security Tools:
Knowledge of security technologies like CCTV systems, alarm systems and associated legal frameworks etc.
Digital Forensics: Ability to use technology in conducting forensic tracking for evidences and recovery
