Job Description Site Controller/Junior Accountant job vacancy at AKO Group Ltd Job title: Site Controller/ Junior Accountant Department: Finance Reports to: Finance Manager

APPLICATION DEADLINE

- : 15th October 2026 Job purpose To support the day-to-day accounting and financial activities at the project site, ensuring that transactions are properly recorded, supported, and reported in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Record daily financial transactions and maintain proper accounting records at the site.

- Prepare and maintain records of site expenses, payments, receipts, and other financial transactions.

- Check and verify invoices, receipts, and supporting documents before processing payments.

- Assist in preparing payment requests and other financial documents for site expenses.

- Maintain proper records of petty cash and ensure all expenses are properly supported.

- Reconcile petty cash and other site-related accounts on a regular basis.

- Assist in monitoring site purchases and ensure they are supported by approved documentation.

- Follow up on outstanding invoices, payments, and other financial documents.

- Assist in preparing weekly and monthly financial reports for the site.

- Maintain proper filing of accounting and financial documents.

QUALIFICATIONS

- and experience Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- ACPA/CPA or other professional accounting

QUALIFICATIONS

- will be an added advantage.

- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

- Knowledge of accounting software will be an added advantage.

- 0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance.

- Any experience through internship, industrial training, or attachment in an accounting or finance environment will be an added advantage.

- Experience working in a project site, construction, mining, hospitality, or similar environment will be an added advantage.
