Job Description Teaching vacancies at St. Francis University College of Health and Allied Sciences (SFUCHAS) A Constituent College of St. Augustine University of Tanzania Saint Francis University College of Health and Allied Sciences (SFUCHAS) is a Constituent College of St. Augustine University of Tanzania (SAUT). It is located at Ifakara town in Kilombero District, Morogoro Region. The area is accessible throughout the year as it is connected by tarmac road from all directions. The College is currently running the following programs: A Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences, and a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences. SFUCHAS invites applications from qualified and motivated individuals to fill the following academic vacant posts: Lecturers (3 Posts)

QUALIFICATIONS

- for Lecturer Applicants for the post of Lecturer must have a PhD or MMed in the respective subject of study and possess a minimum GPA of 4.0 at the Master’s degree level and an Undergraduate degree with an overall GPA of 3.5 or higher from a recognized institution.

- Must be registered by the relevant Council/board.

- Positions Lecturer in Physiology (1 Post) Lecturer in Paediatrics and Child Health (1 Post) Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (1 Post) Assistant Lecturers (3 Posts)

QUALIFICATIONS

- for Assistant Lecturers Applicants for the post of Assistant Lecturer must have a Master’s Degree in the respective subject of study and possess a minimum GPA of 4.0 at the Master’s degree level and an Undergraduate degree with an overall GPA of 3.5 or higher from a recognized Institution.

- Must be registered by the relevant Council/board.

- Positions Assistant Lecturer in Physiology (1 Post) Assistant Lecturer in Pharmacology (1 post) Tutorial Assistant (6 Posts)

QUALIFICATIONS

- for Tutorial Assistants Holder of Bachelor degree in Medicine (MD or its equivalent) with a minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 5 from a recognized Institution.

- Must be registered by the relevant Council/board.

- Positions Tutorial Assistant in Paediatrics and Child Health (2 Post) Tutorial Assistant in ENT (1 Post) Tutorial Assistant in Emergency Medicine (1 Post) Tutorial Assistant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (1 Posts) Tutorial Assistant in Clinical Pharmacology (1 post) Mode of application Interested candidates should apply in confidence enclosing: Cover letter Detailed CV.
