Job Description Heavy Goods Truck Driver DRC Routes Location: Tanzania, with frequent trips to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) Employment Type: Permanent Employment (20 Urgent Vacancies) Vehicle Types: HOWO and FAW trucks Job Summary We are looking for 20 experienced and disciplined drivers to join our transport company. The main responsibility is to transport cargo safely from Tanzania to the DRC. We require drivers with experience in long-distance journeys, knowledge of border procedures, and experience operating HOWO and FAW trucks. Key
RESPONSIBILITIES
- 1.
- Long-Distance Driving Safely operate HOWO and FAW trucks on international routes, especially from Tanzania to the DRC.
- 2.
- Cargo Handling Ensure that cargo is properly loaded, transported safely, and delivered without damage or loss.
- 3.
- Border Procedures Manage all required permits and customs documentation when crossing borders.
- 4.
- Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance Conduct daily vehicle inspections before each journey.
- Identify and resolve minor common mechanical faults to ensure the vehicle remains in good operating condition.

QUALIFICATIONS
- and Documents Valid Class E driving licence.
- Training certificate in HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle), PSV (Public Service Vehicle), or GDP (Good Driving Practice).
- Valid National Identification Card (NIDA).
- Valid passport.
- TIN number and NSSF registration.
- Recent Certificate of Good Conduct (Police Clearance).
- Driving License Verification Certificate.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in long-distance driving and cross-border travel.
- Experience on the DRC route is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of truck systems, especially HOWO and FAW.
- Honesty, patience, and the ability to work on long journeys.
