The position provides technical, programmatic and operational support throughout the programming process to facilitate the administration and achievement of robust and sustainable results according to plans, allocation, results based-management approaches and methodology, the UNFPA Strategic Plan, standards of performance, and accountability frameworks. QUALIFICATIONS
- and Experience: Education: Master’s / Advanced degree in public health, medicine, health research, health policy, education and/or management, development and/or other related social science disciplines.
- Knowledge and Experience: Minimum of 2 years of progressive professional work experience in the field of sexual and reproductive health, particularly maternal health; Practical experience in programme/project management including experience in large multi-sector projects, designing, monitoring and appraising proposals and actively liaising and coordinating with relevant and potential project partners; Prior experience in the UN system is an asset.
- Experience using Microsoft Office software packages, Cloud applications, like Google Suite, and web-based ERP management systems, such as, the Oracle, Quantum, QuantumPlus, Quantum PowerBI, etc.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required; Kiswahili knowledge of other official UN languages, is desirable .
