Under the overall guidance of the UNFPA Representative and the direct supervision of the SRHR Coordinator, the Associate ensures high efficiency, quality assurance, and procedural compliance in country programme implementation. RESPONSIBILITIES
- : The Programme Associate will be responsible for: A.
- Programme Management, Administrative and Financial Support Financial Processing & Budget Monitoring: Processes payment requests, travel authorizations, and purchase orders using corporate ERP systems (e.g., Quantum), ensuring all required supporting documents are verified.
- Monitor overall expenditure targets, budget utilization, and delivery levels for the SRH unit against approved budgets, initiating requisitions and receiving as required.
- IP Management & Compliance: Assists the relevant Programme Officer with supporting Implementing Partners (IPs) to prepare and finalize Annual Work Plans (AWPs) and requests for Funding Authorization and Certificate of Expenditures (FACE forms).
- Conducts strict quality control on financial reports to guarantee compliance with UNFPA financial rules, HACT guidelines, micro-assessments, and spot-check preparations.
- Logistics & Event Coordination: Plan, schedule, and coordinate comprehensive administrative arrangements and logistics for high-level technical meetings, donor reviews, and other strategic meetings; This includes coordinating with the relevant focal points on venue procurement, coordinating travel itineraries, and managing daily subsistence allowance (DSA) disbursements in accordance with organizational policy; Correspondence & Workflow Management: Manages incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence, drafts non-substantive responses to inquiries from external partners; Maintains a secure and comprehensive filing system,, and updates database contact details for key stakeholders.

- Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Assistance Reporting & Synthesis: Follows up on the timely submission of qualitative and quantitative progress reports from IPs.
- Reviews, compiles, and synthesizes field monitoring tool data to assist in generating consolidated quarterly monitoring and implementation reports.
