RESPONSIBILITIES
- Role purpose: To support the delivery of M‑Pesa’s strategic payment collection projects in the transportation sector, Education Sector, Agriculture Sector, Health Sector and Logistic Sector by assisting in planning, coordination, and execution activities.
- The Specialist ensures tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to defined scope and quality standards under the guidance of the Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- : Define project scope, objectives, governance, and acceptance criteria in alignment with business goals.
- Contribute to detailed project plans, resource tracking, and budget monitoring.
- Support communication between M‑Pesa, clients, and partners, ensuring updates and documentation are shared.
- Work with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth execution of assigned tasks.
- Monitor project activities, escalate risks/issues, and propose improvements.
- Ensure deliverables meet defined standards and compliance
REQUIREMENTS
- .
- Key Qualification, Core competencies, Knowledge and Experience Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, Finance, IT, or related field (master’s preferred).
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience managing large-scale public service or revenue collection projects.
- Experience in transportation sector (air, water, rail, buses, etc.) Solid understanding of project management methodologies.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and supporting contract administration.
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
- Familiarity with payment systems and automated fare collection.
- Analytical mindset with good problem‑solving and communication abilities.
