- How can you make a difference?

- The output of this consultancy will be used by the Ministry of Health, Prime Minister’s Office Regional Administration and Local Government, and implementing partners to guide planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for health care technologies.

- Specifically, the implementation plan will inform annual Comprehensive Council Health Plans, national budgeting processes, and partner- investments in medical equipment, maintenance systems, and human resource development.

- Development partners and financing institutions will use the outputs to align technical and financial assistance with government priorities.

- The assignment will inform prioritization of investments in biomedical equipment and maintenance infrastructure, allocation and deployment of biomedical engineering personnel, establishment of sustainable financing mechanisms for equipment lifecycle management, and clarification of roles and accountability across national and subnational levels.

- It will also guide decisions on integration of health technology management within broader health system strengthening initiatives under the Health Sector Strategic Plan V.

- Objectives The objective of this consultancy is to develop a comprehensive, costed, and operational implementation plan for Health Care Technology Management that translates policy directives into actionable interventions across all levels of the health system.
