RESPONSIBILITIES
- Technical Leadership and Local Adaptation (20%) Provide overall technical direction for FCI Tanzania in close coordination with the Chief of party and Global FCI Technical Director.
- Translate the FCI global technical strategy, service-delivery standards, tools and protocols into a Tanzania-specific technical implementation framework aligned with national policies, standards and service-delivery structures.
- Implement in-country technical strategy, standards, tools, protocols, and integrated service package designed at the global level, adapting them to the national context and guidelines.
- Oversee technical planning, implementation, and coordination of all technical program activities delivered through a network of government facilities, Christian Health Associations (CHAs) , and other faith-based organizations (FBOs) health facilities, delivering HIV, TB, malaria, maternal and child health, and nutrition services.
- Ensure the country program is technically sound and in line with both FCI global technical policies and strategies and Ministry of Health policies, strategies, and guidelines, and responds to donor

- High-quality integrated services are effectively delivered through government and faith-based hub-and-spoke networks, with strengthened referral, counter-referral and continuity of care.
- Integrated Service Delivery and Health Systems Strengthening (20%) Provide technical leadership for implementation and continuous strengthening of the FCI integrated hub-and-spoke service-delivery model, ensuring effective linkages between government facilities, faith-based health facilities and community platforms.
- Ensure effective integration of priority services including HIV, TB, malaria, RMNCAH, nutrition and community health—based on Tanzania’s disease burden, population needs, service gaps and national priorities.
- Strengthen referral and counter-referral systems between community platforms, spoke facilities and hub facilities, ensuring referral completion, continuity of care, appropriate follow-up and re-engagement of clients who interrupt care.
- Work with MoH, PO-RALG, RHMTs and CHMTs to ensure FCI-supported service-delivery approaches are embedded within existing national and sub-national health systems, rather than creating parallel structures.
