SUMMARY

OVERVIEW

- The company flySunBird is a Tanzanian private company operating helicopters for commercial flights in Tanzania.

- The company is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist based in Dar es Salaam, with exceptional candidates already based in Zanzibar also being considered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Analyse customer preferences, business trends and competitors` marketing strategies.

- Develop online marketing campaigns and strategies to reach the target audience.

- Design visual elements for marketing campaigns.

- Write copy for social media posts, online advertisements, marketing emails, blog posts, websites, and capturing and editing videos for marketing campaigns.

- Optimise marketing materials for search engines and social media algorithms.

- Manage the company website.

- Monitor trends in social media and digital marketing.

- Use data analytics to track progress and refine marketing materials.

REQUIREMENTS

- A formal qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field would be an advantage but is not essential.

- Two to four years of experience in digital marketing, with demonstrated results across paid and organic channels.

- A proven record of managing marketing budgets and achieving measurable return on investment improvements.

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate campaign data into actionable optimisation strategies.

- Excellent written communication skills for creating compelling advertising copy and marketing content.

- Written and spoken fluency in Swahili and English.
