SUMMARY
OVERVIEW
- The Technical Planning and Systems Analyst will support the Technical Manager in planning, coordinating and continuously improving technical operations.
- The position involves managing maintenance planning, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) administration, asset management, technical reporting and operational support.
- The role helps ensure equipment reliability, efficient resource utilization and data-driven decision-making that supports operational excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the administration, optimization and continuous improvement of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring that maintenance and asset records are accurate.
- Develop and coordinate preventive, predictive and periodic maintenance plans to maximize equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Generate technical reports, dashboards and performance analyses to support informed decision-making.
- Maintain the technical asset register and support asset lifecycle planning, capital investment proposals and equipment replacement initiatives.
- Coordinate technical procurement activities, including preparing technical specifications and following up on critical spare parts and equipment deliveries.
- Prepare technical documentation and prototype sketches and support engineering improvement projects.
- Provide operational support to Assistant Technical Managers to ensure the continuity of technical operations.
- Promote compliance with company health, safety and operational standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial or maintenance engineering, or a related field.
- At least two years of experience in maintenance planning, engineering support or technical operations.
- Experience working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Knowledge of technical procurement, asset management and maintenance reporting.
- Strong ICT skills, including proficiency in maintenance management systems, Microsoft Office and other digital applications.
- Excellent analytical, planning, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience in greenhouse, agricultural or manufacturing environments will be an added advantage.
