SUMMARY
OVERVIEW
- The Logistics and Supply Chain Support Officer is responsible for monitoring, controlling and managing stock movements within the head office and between the head office and operational zones.
- The position also facilitates overseas procurement and logistics activities to ensure a reliable supply of stock that meets the requirements of all zones.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the head office has sufficient stock to meet demand across all zones.
- Ensure suppliers have sufficient stock to meet demand.
- Facilitate and support stock-taking activities in the zones according to the guidance provided.
- Maintain order in stores and warehouses.
- Coordinate import processes with clearing agents for all countries where WASSHA Inc. operates.
- Monitor stock levels.
- Track all consignments dispatched to or from the zones and ensure they reach their intended destinations.
- Monitor the implementation of supply chain policies.
- Manage incoming requests from the zones daily to ensure timely turnaround.
- Track all overseas consignments and provide updated lead times for their arrival.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
- Academic and professional qualifications:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or another relevant field.
