KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the design of the full MEL framework and data collection tools for the Bandebereho program
- Lead the implementation of baseline surveys in the 2 pilot district councils
- Oversee data collection during the pilot, providing real-time quality assurance and troubleshooting data entry issues
- Provide technical guidance as needed on how to collect endline surveys in pilot districts at the conclusion of the pilot period and analyze results to assess attitude change and inform adaptation
- Design a module within the Training of Trainers curriculum on how changes can be effectively tracked, and how to maintain systems for continuous learning and adaptation at the district level
- Advise as needed on MEL-related queries from the government team throughout scale-up
- Coordinate closely with the Formative Research, Programs, and Training of Trainers strands to ensure MEL tools and guidance reflect the latest curriculum and training design
- Provide technical review, as requested by the government, on project related documents including project reports and the National Prevention Protocol at the conclusion of the project
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in M&E, Economics, Statistics, or a related Social Science field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation, preferably in a development or humanitarian context
- Strong technical knowledge of M&E principles, theories, and best practices
- Experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and build relationships with stakeholders
- Fluency in English and Swahili is required
