SUMMARY
OVERVIEW
- Tabono Consult Limited is seeking a structured and proactive HR Officer to join its client`s team in Zinga, Bagamoyo.
- The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of practical experience across core HR functions, a solid understanding of Tanzanian statutory compliance, and the ability to effectively supervise a team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and leave administration.
- Oversee and guide the daily activities of the HR/admin team, ensuring productivity, alignment with company policies, and a positive working environment.
- Ensure full compliance with Tanzanian labor laws.
- Manage timely and accurate processing of all statutory deductions and returns, including NSSF, WCF, HESLB, PAYE, and others.
- Assist in payroll preparation by ensuring all employee data, attendance records, and statutory updates are accurate.
- Maintain up-to-date and confidential employee records, contracts, and HR files.
- Prepare regular HR metrics and reports for management.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor`s degree in Human Resources Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a practical HR role.
- Demonstrated experience or potential in supervising a small team or coordinating staff.
- Deep understanding of core HR practices.
- Robust familiarity with local statutory regulations and compliance procedures.
