**Programme Policy Officer – National Coordinator JPRWEE at WFP**
**Overview**
• The World Food Programme (WFP) is seeking a Programme Policy Officer – National Coordinator for the Joint Programme `Accelerating Progress towards Rural Women`s Economic Empowerment` (JP RWEE) in Tanzania.
• The National Coordinator will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of the JP RWEE in Tanzania.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Manage and coordinate the implementation of the JP RWEE in Tanzania.
• Collaborate closely with JP RWEE stakeholders, including the National Steering Committee and the Technical Working Group.
• Oversee the Programme Management Unit, consisting of a National Coordinator and a MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning) Coordinator.
• Ensure the implementation of the programme is monitored and supported.
• Lead and coordinate the implementation of the programme to achieve its four key outcomes for rural women.
**Requirements**
• A Master`s degree in a relevant field, such as development studies, economics, or social sciences.
• At least 5 years of experience in programme management, coordination, and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of the Joint Programme `Accelerating Progress towards Rural Women`s Economic Empowerment` (JP RWEE) and its objectives.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and with diverse stakeholders.
