Summary
**Manager, Partnerships and Government Relations at Room to Read**
**Overview**
• Provide strategic leadership and coordination for the implementation of the Accelerate 2.0 project, a donor-funded Literacy Portfolio initiative.
• Manage and steward strategic partnerships with foundations, corporates, government, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure effective project delivery through collaboration with program, technical, and Research Monitoring & Evaluation (RM&E) teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Maintain accurate tracking of project activities and spending.
• Support departments to revise work plans as needed to meet deadlines.
• Identify implementation challenges and provide solutions or flag for additional support.
• Act as primary liaison between Country Office, Community Based Office, and government stakeholders.
• Monitor project budget and coordinate with Accounting and Finance Manager to address budget issues.
• Facilitate and support annual planning and budgeting.
• Review and approve staff expense reports, timesheets, and trip reports.
• Develop and implement the country`s partnership strategy with key stakeholders.
• Lead engagement with government stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and ownership of project activities.
• Promote sustainability and scalability of literacy interventions through government systems.
• Represent Room to Read Tanzania in high-level external meetings and forums.
• Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with government ministries.
**Requirements**
• Legally eligible to work in Tanzania.
• Ability to provide strategic leadership and coordination for project implementation.
• Strong partnership management and government engagement skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
