**Country Director at Feed the Children**

**Overview**
• Provide strategic leadership for Feed the Children`s Tanzania portfolio
• Drive high-impact, evidence-based programming that advances child wellbeing, food security, nutrition, and community resilience
• Ensure strong integration between program strategy, operational excellence, financial stewardship, and organizational accountability

**Key Responsibilities**
• Strategic Leadership & Direction
• Drive evidence-based program design and adaptive management approaches
• Promote innovation and continuous learning through strong MEAL systems
• Ensure effective use of program data, evaluations, research findings, and community feedback
• Strengthen program sustainability through localization, systems strengthening, and community ownership approaches
• Program Quality & Impact
• Lead the strategic direction, quality, and performance of the country programs
• Drive evidence-based program design and adaptive management approaches
• Promote innovation and continuous learning through strong MEAL systems
• Ensure effective use of program data, evaluations, research findings, and community feedback
• Resource Mobilization & Partnerships
• Lead fundraising strategy and execution
• Identify and secure strategic partnerships

**Requirements**
• Works directly with: Regional Leadership, Programme Teams, Finance Team, HR Team, Country Senior Management Team (SMT), and Safeguarding / Compliance Functions
• Supervises: Senior leadership team and indirect supervision to all country office staff
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Experience in program design, implementation, and management
• Strong fundraising and partnership development skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
