**Procurement Officer**
**Overview**
Thamini Uhai is seeking a Procurement Officer to join its team in Dar Es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for the procurement management functions of the program, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services, and maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Establish and maintain procurement plans
* Assist with the preparation of requests for quotation, invitations to bid, and coordination of their timely dispatch
* Maintain current and up-to-date procurement documents and manuals
* Review requisitions for completeness and accuracy
* Coordinate with the procurement evaluation committee to prepare requests for quotation, invite price quotations, and conduct price analysis
* Ensure procurement transactions have adequate and accurate supporting documentation
* Expedite and track purchase orders
* Compile suppliers` invoices and ensure weekly submission to Finance for payment
* Provide purchased materials to the responsible receiving office
* Maintain and manage all procurement documents for records and audit purposes
* Prepare reports, correspondence, and documents on procurement-related matters
**Requirements**
* Bachelor`s Degree in Procurement and Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
* Certified with the Procurement and Supplies Professional and Technician Board (PSPTB)
* Minimum of 3 years` professional experience in procurement, supplies, and logistics
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Ability to work in a team environment
