**Job Title: Mechanic**

**Overview**
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team in Liwale. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex and advanced maintenance and repair of MSF vehicles and mechanical equipment.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Perform autonomous and complex/advanced maintenance and repair of MSF vehicles and mechanical equipment to ensure they are in perfect condition.
* Process payments to suppliers and maintain documentation.
* Perform maintenance according to logbook instructions and ensure all services are done on time.
* Test vehicles after each service and report any problems to the line manager.
* Keep records of vehicle driver remarks and carry out repairs as needed.
* Assist in briefing or training drivers regarding vehicle services and maintenance.
* Manage stock of consumable items and maintain equipment and tools.

**Requirements**

* Essential diploma in mechanics or related studies.
* Valid driving license for vehicles.
* Demonstrable mechanical experience (minimum 2 years).
* Local language (Swahili) and English are essential.
