**Job Title: Nursing Officer II and Assistant Nursing Officer II**

**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Nursing Officer II:**
- Provide health education to patients and relatives.
- Communicate effectively internally and externally.
- Ensure that prescribed instructions are carried out.
- Set and communicate standards of nursing care to the ward/department.
- Teach nurse students and other health cadres.
- Visit patients in their homes and provide advice in primary health care.
- Apply the integrated hospital management information system.
- Ensure adherence to prescribed treatment manuals and procedures.
- Carry out supervision of other staff.
- Maintain hospital inventory and monitor consumables usage.
- Document patients` progress reports.
- Maintain a harmonious working environment.
- **Assistant Nursing Officer II:**
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients.
- Organize and assist clients and relatives towards patients` well-being.
- Create and maintain a harmonious working environment.
- Liaise with staff in other disciplines.
- Involve patients and relatives in care and rehabilitation.
- Keep and maintain up-to-date inventory and report any loss or damage.
- Keep records of staff and leave schedule.
- Plan and conduct ward rounds.
- Order and keep proper records of drugs.
- Assist staff in practicing new trends of nursing care.
- Demonstrate an attitude of faithfulness, love, and compassion.
**Requirements:**
- Tanzanian citizenship
- Not more than 45 years old
- Degree or B.Sc in Nursing for Nursing Officer II
- Diploma in Nursing for Assistant Nursing Officer II
- Registered with the Nurses and Midwifery Council of Tanzania
- Valid license to practice
- Attach certified copies of relevant certificates and transcripts
- Indicate three reputable referees with reliable contacts
