Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Manager
**Overview**
• On behalf of our client in the food processing industry, we are seeking a competent and experienced Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Manager.
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, uphold high operational standards, and foster a culture of integrity, safety, and teamwork.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop
• Prepare and manage staff rosters
• Plan and oversee routine and preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment
• Identify faults and ensure timely repair of mechanical and electrical systems
• Lead staff training and capacity-building initiatives
• Prepare and submit regular reports on operations, maintenance, and performance
• Participate actively in management meetings
• Place and track orders for spare parts and tools through the procurement department
• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards
• Safeguard workshop assets
• Foster a harmonious and productive working environment
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, order, and organization in the workshop
**Requirements**
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in workshop or maintenance management
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, maintenance practices, and safety standards
• Experience in report writing
