**Senior Knowledge Management and Knowledge Translation Specialist**

**Overview**
• Ifakara Health Institute is seeking a Senior Knowledge Management Specialist to ensure evidence, data, and implementation experience are systematically captured, translated, and used to improve maternal and newborn health outcomes.
• The role bridges implementation, evidence, policy, and practice to inform decision-making, enable scale, sustainability, and global learning.

**Key Responsibilities**
• Develop and implement a KM/KT strategy aligning with national and global program learning agenda.
• Capture implementation learning, clinical insights, and systems-level experience across program-supported sites.
• Translate complex data, evaluations, and learning into clear, actionable products for different audiences.
• Support development of decision-focused briefs, dashboards, scorecards, and synthesis products.
• Synthesise lessons on institutionalisation, financing, and government ownership to strengthen systems and scale.
• Establish and support a community of practice among clinicians, managers, and implementers.
• Facilitate learning exchanges, reflection workshops, and peer-to-peer learning at national and subnational levels.
• Lead development of high-quality knowledge products, including dashboards, reports, policy briefs, infographics, presentations, tools, datasets, videos, blogs, and news stories.

**Requirements**
• Master’s degree in Public Health, Communications, Multimedia, or related field.
• At least 5-8 years of relevant working experience in knowledge management, learning, or evidence to policy roles in health programs.
• Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale maternal, newborn, and child health or health systems programs.
• Strong synthesis, communication, writing, and creative skills.
• Ability to work across technical, policy, and implementation teams.
• Stakeholder collaboration and engagement skills.
• Strong facilitation skills.
• Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English and Kiswahili.
