Responsibilities
Daily operational Process (OPEX)
- Daily controlling or tracking of OPEX.
- Obtain appropriate approvals for any cost over runs.
- Resolve all user group issues relating to AOP.
- Drive Cost efficiencies.
- Planning for various cost items and also identification of areas for cost optimization (WoW savings).
- Monitoring OPEX productivity and analysis and Any other activities assigned by line Manager.
Capex AOP tracking
- Capex AOP tracking for every PR (Network, CSD and Admin Capex).
- Facilitate/track/follow up Capex approvals to HQ as per DOA, as and when.
- Any other duties related to Capex swapping and AOP.
Collation of AOP inputs
- Timely and accurate Collation of all user groups Capex inputs in the required format during AOP forecast and reforecast periods in line with group AOP guidelines.
- Ensure that all user groups input for OPEX are collated accurately in the required format during AOP forecast or reforecast periods in line with group AOP guidelines.
- Ensure all spending is in line with AOP guidelines.
Preparation and/or Review Capex
- Participate in preparation and review of Capex Business Cases (Network, IT, CSD and Admin Capex)
- Budgetary Check and evaluation of all Capex Investment.
- Review Capex Categories during PR and during capitalization.
- Ad hoc on Capex and Fixed Assets related matters.
Reporting and Forecasts
- Preparation of monthly commentary and variance analysis against previous month’s actual and flash for Group deliverables.
- Monthly analysis of OPEX actual expenses and AOP variance report and Analysis of various operating expenses.
- Prepare and share dashboards monthly on Capex spent on functions.
- Monthly reporting to HQ/Management includes Capex Input reporting (CIT), Site
- Profitability reporting, NSP Template, CLS reporting and management (Monthly LMS review analysis).
- Capex forecasts during flash and Capex productivity monthly in flash.
- Monthly/Quarterly review deck for Board (When required)
Qualifications
- Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills
- Graduate degree in Accounting/ Finance;
- Professional qualification in Accounting CPA (T)
Relevant Experience
- 2-3 years preferably in corporate environment, banking, auditing firm or Telecoms.
- Other requirements (Behavioural etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of the telecoms industry.
- Strong Analytical skills.
- High level of commitment and Honest, Resilience, Result Oriented, Good interpersonal skills and highly Professional.
