REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) FOR PROVISION OF
CONSULTANCY SERVICES

FOR TERMINAL AUTOMATION SYSTEM

1.      Tanzania International Petroleum Reserves Ltd (TIPER) is a hospitality
storage facility for bulk fuel with its share divided equally between the
Government of Tanzania and Oryx Energies SA (Based in Switzerland). The Company
office is located at Kigamboni Industrial Area, Depot site-plot # 1, Dar es
Salaam-Tanzania.

 

2.     
TIPER hereby invites, via International Competitive
Bidding (ICB) experienced consultants registered in both mechanical and electrical or instrumentation for provision of
Consultancy services for terminal automation system.

 

3.      Interested and eligible bidders may request electronic copy of tender
document through the following email: [email protected]
by sending an application letter and copy of company registration certifications
from the Engineering Registration Board (ERB) or a similar certification for
foreign suppliers from Monday to Friday at 08:00AM to 4:00PM between 17 March,
2025 to 4 April, 2025.

 

4.      Bidders MUST visit the site. Site visit will be conducted on Monday, 24 March,
2025 from 10:30 hrs. to 12:30 hrs.

 

5.      The bidders are required to come with their own Personal Protective
Equipment PPE’s during the site visit. The minimum PPE requirement are steel
toe safety boots, worker’s helmet and cotton reflector vest / cotton over coat
/ cotton overall. Consultant who will not come with correct PPE’s will not be
allowed to conduct site visit.

 

6.      Bidders must submit hardcopies of bids (one original and one copy)
respectively, enclosed and sealed in a single plain envelope marked Tender No: TP/03/2025/ICB/S/04
FOR PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY
SERVICES FOR TERMINAL AUTOMATION SYSTEM. Softcopies MUST be
submitted in a USB flash disk embedded in the copy document. All bid documents
must be addressed and delivered to Tanzania International Petroleum Reserves
Ltd, P.O. Box 2608, Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam.

 

7.      The deadline for submission of Tender documents will be 1400hrs local time on Wednesday 9 April, 2025.

 

8.      Bids opening shall be at 1430hrs
local time on Wednesday 9 April, 2025.

 

9.      Late bids, portion of bids, electronic bids will not be considered for
evaluation irrespective of any circumstances.

 

10.  TIPER reserves the right to accept or reject any tender and does not
bind itself to accept the lowest or any bid.
