Descriptions

The African Cashew
Alliance (ACA) has been working on developing learning solutions for the
industry.  As such we have developed
several eLearning and in-class training programs, which are being rolled out.
The ACA is the Lead partner for the Master Training Program (MTP) from the
Market-Oriented Value Chains for Jobs & Growth in the ECOWAS Region
(MOVE/GIZ) to enable us to consolidate the learning programs as well as enhance
the content. So far, 18 editions have been held already in which 1,344 experts
have been trained between 2014 and 2024. To prepare for and deliver the 20th
Edition in 2025, the ACA is seeking of qualified Interpreters
to provide English- Portuguese- English interpretation services for
training sessions 1 and 2 of edition 20. In total 2 separate training sessions
will be held on different dates which will take place in Tanzania.

The tasks for both sessions are the same and are
defined as follows:



 



·        
To provide specify
number of professional Interpreters for English
to Portuguese, Portuguese to
English,
interpretations for all 5 days of each training session.



 



·        
To provide
simultaneous interpretation equipment for 120 participants per training
session. Equipment shall include 1 booth (ISO Standard), 120 Bluetooth
headsets, 4 wireless microphones, 60 table microphones, 2 radiators and a
complete sound system and UPS.



 



 



·        
To provide
simultaneous interpretation equipment for field visit on Wednesday 26th
March 2025 for 120 participants.



 



·        
To ensure audio
enhanced speakers is provided.



 



·        
Provide 2
technicians/session to provide technical support for the interpretation equipment
management.



 



 



·        
The firm is
required to arrive two days before the start of the sessions by 9am and
participate in an opening debriefing meeting. Departure should be on the day
after the sessions end and after participation in the closing debriefing
meeting in the morning. 



·        
A training report
delivered at the end of each session, as well as a 5-pager debriefing note to
management of ACA.



 



Transportation and lodging



1.       Transportation
of the Interpreters and the equipment as well as lodging for the Interpreters
will be fully covered by organizers.



2.       Kindly
include in your quote your transport charges to the training venue. The Lodging
costs will be provided for directly by the organizers and therefore should not
be included in your bidding quote. The successful bidder would be required to
provide necessary details to make the lodging arrangements for the team.

a.       Company
profile including a list of recently completed interpretation contracts or
events.



b.      Official quote/
pro-forma for the services detailing charges for the interpreters, the
equipment and transportation costs, if any.
