Senate has approved that the 13th Graduation Ceremony for the year
2022 will be held in two clusters on 1st and 2nd
Graduation Ceremony will be preceded by the 13th University of Dodoma
Convocation to be held on 30th November, 2022.

HIRING OF GRADUATION COSTUMES
Graduands who wish to participate in
the Graduation Ceremony should hire graduation costumes (Gowns, Hats and
Scarfs) of the University of Dodoma. Graduation gowns from other institutions
are not allowed. Graduands who will be found wearing part or completely
different costumes will not be allowed to enter into the Graduation hall.
Graduation gowns shall be collected
flexibly for two weeks before the Graduation day (16th to 30th
November, 2022) at the University of Dodoma Students’ Service Centre, First Floor,
Chimwaga Hall. Graduands shall be allowed to collect graduation gowns upon
submission of evidence of payment and the dully signed contract between the
University of Dodoma and the respective Graduand.
Graduands are required to hire the
costumes at a rate of TZS. 40,000 non-refundable. Graduands must pay upfront by
using control numbers available in their Student Record (SR) accounts. Payments
can be made through CRDB or NMB Banks, and USSD Government Payment on Mobile
AGREEMENT FORMS FOR HIRING
Agreement forms for hiring of
graduation costumes will be available on the University website at
www.udom.ac.tz. Filled agreement forms must be signed by a registered
Commissioner for Oaths and the authorized officers at the University Bureau of
Senate and Examinations.
All graduands SHALL participate in a
rehearsal that will be held at the Chimwaga Hall on each day of graduation starting
at 7:30 a.m. Attendance to the rehearsal is mandatory for all graduands who
intend to participate in the Graduation Ceremony.
Graduands who will not participate
in the rehearsal shall not be allowed to enter into the graduation hall;
instead, the awards will be conferred in absentia.
